We had the privilege to go with a team of 13 from Sweden to minister at the European Conference for the Redeemed Christian Church of God. After a 13 hour drive we arrived to the first service on Wednesday evening.

A team from Kingdom Center arrived to Robert & Carolyn Steidley's ranch and Carolyn, who is the pastor of The Glory Riders and Manger Ministries, welcomed them. Many people had already gathered in the barn for Christmas celebration. Outside the barn the campfire was burning and the horses were saddled and stood waiting in the arena.
On Sunday November 7, the Redeemed Christian Church of God officially welcomed a new parish in the outskirts of Gothenburg Sweden. The church, Overcomers Parish, is led by Pastor & Mrs Sunday & Grace Abanishe and they started to hold their first services in March this year.
What was striking to me, as I was invited to their inauguration service, was the good relationship the church had already created with those around them.
After several years of hearing stories about the different cowboy churches in America, I got the chance to visit one today, together with a team from Kingdom Center in Sweden. We went to "Cowboy Church of Ellis County" - a cowboy church south of Dallas that has grown rapidly from a few hundred to 3 000 members in just a few years. One of the tools they use to reach out to people is a weekly bullriding competition and they have seen many people give their lives to Jesus for the first time on these events.
