14 years ago, no one could ever believe that a Nigerian man in Ukraine would start a church, that 14 years later would become one of the most influential ministries in the world, recognized by governments and world leaders around the globe. But now, we can only stand in awe and see what the Lord has done!

The Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for all Nations has now become the largest church in Europe, but - more importantly - a social church which influences every part of society in Ukraine in a very positive way. They were also an important part in the Orange Revolution that took place in 2004.

Pastor Chris, Helena and a team of 15 people from Kingdom Center came to Kiev, Ukraine, to congratulate the church and Pastor Sunday Adelaja on their 14th Anniversary and to be a part of this historical gathering together with thousands of others from around the world.

For the first time, the church had decided not to have any speakers at their conference. Instead they presented some of the hundreds of social organizations and ministries that have been started by members of the God Embassy church during its fourteen years of existence.

One of the first ministries to be presented was the "Fatherhood Institute", founded by Alexander Korman. The main idea of the institute is that one cannot be born a father but you can become a father. He saw that many of the problems he experienced in his life were because he never had a father who cared for him. Because of this, it gave him the vision and passion to create an institute that would train young men to become fathers. The institute has now set up offices in Ukraine, Russia, Belorussia, Moldova, Kirgizstan, America and Canada. Three of the social centers that they have opened are now sponsored financially by the Ukrainian government. The institute has trained 50 000 people since its start 5 years ago.

Other ministries presented this day included a youth ministry called Kapitoschka that has reached out to over 100 000 people. They train young people to abstain from drugs and smoking etc.

Pastor Yuriy Grushovenko presented his children's organization that ministers to 12 000 kids in Kiev every month. Another amazing testimony was a former mafia leader who created a sports organization that trains young people in boxing and other sports, keeping them off the streets. He has also started a security agency together with some other converted mafia members.

During the day, Pastor Sunday invited the foreign guests at the conference to ask questions about what they had seen and heard during the day. These are some of the statements he made during those conversations:

God didn't call us to make members of churches. We should bring the Kingdom of God into the society to permeate the society. It would be a crime for any pastor to hold his members inside the four walls of the church. God has sent people to you to make them deliverers. The church has become a place of massive waste. When Jesus created the church he didn't make it for Himself but for the world.
The members of your church should have much more followers than the pastor. You as a pastor should train them to do the work of the ministry. You train people to identify their callings. We are not going as a church to get people out of the culture. We train people and send them back into the area that God delivered them from so that they can bring the Kingdom of God there. We don't do evangelization or hand out papers and invite people to church, but we train people to be sent out into the world and to be an answer to the problems of the society. Love people, solve their problems, help them receive Jesus in their homes and then take them to church.
