Pastor Chris came to the Cowboy Church Conference in Sealy arranged by Pastor Coy & Donna Huffman and Pastor Sonny & Gloria Rice. Pastor Chris preached in the evening service about the atmosphere that is needed in a church to produce men and women who bring the positive influence of the Kingdom of God to the world.

He started with showing some video clips and pictures from his latest trip to the 14:th Anniversary of the Embassy of God church in Kiev. How they are training their people to bring positive change to the society, people who have been drug addicts for many years, are trained and sent out into the society to bring the Kingdom of God there.
Pastor Chris said that the church has to change. From producing church goers and pew warmers to training up people who influence the society with Godly values and principles. You cannot be a king if you don't have your domain. Tradition has made people to believe that their place is in church and not in society. Business men feel guilty that they are doing business, instead of understanding that they are in the exact right place. The place where we need to bring the Kingdom of God is in the society and not in the church.

Pastor Chris listed different ingredients that are needed in the church to create that kind of atmosphere where kingdom men and women can be trained:
1. A strong presence of God
2. A family atmosphere. In a family environment people feel safe and confident.
3. A father. A father is someone who covers and protects people.
4. An atmosphere of Eden. We need to be in an environment where things look good, smell good etc. That's why God put us in the garden of Eden when He created us.
5. Purpose. Every person has to be able to see a purpose.
7. Education. People need to be educated not just about the bible but also about finances, politics, culture etc.
8. Position. There has to be a way for every person to get a position that they can start acting from. Be it in the church organization or in another organization.
9. Responsibility. The only way to train people is through giving them responsibilities.
10. Acknowledgement. Every person needs to get acknowledgement for the gifts and talents that they possess.
11. Direction. Most pastors are too scared to give direction, but if you want people to grow you have to dare to do it!
14. Accountability. Every person has to be accountable to somebody.
15. Team. Very few leaders are really able to create a team, but this is one of the most important things for people to be trained.
16. Freedom. Everyone has to have freedom to go and do what God has called him or her to do.
17. Clear goals.
18. Parties and Celebration. Jesus spent more time in parties and celebrations than He did in church. Like Martin Luther once said, if you feel down and under, throw a party!
19. Leadership training. You have to see that every single person has the ability to be a leader.
